For best performance and uninterrupted data, keep your Airmonitor Plus plugged into power using the included USB-C cable.
- Battery use (on the go): The built-in rechargeable battery provides about 2-3 hours on a full charge. To optimise the run time, enable the screen sleep option in the app - see this article for instructions.
- Power/charging port: Use the USB-C port on the rear of the monitor. Connect to a 5V, 2A USB power supply for seamless, continuous operation.
How to charge
- Plug the USB-C cable into the rear USB-C port.
- Connect the other end to a 5V, 2A USB adapter (wall charger, computer hub that can supply 5V/2A, or a power bank rated 5V/2A).
- The unit can be used while charging, ideal for continuous monitoring.
Recommended Power Adapters
- Use a charger that explicitly supports 5V at 2A.
- Avoid fast-charge voltages (e.g., 9V/12V QC/PD). If using a PD/QC charger, ensure it’s operating in 5V/2A mode.
Troubleshooting
- Won’t turn on: Charge for 30 minutes, then press the rear power button.
- Not charging: Try a different USB-C cable or 5V/2A adapter; check the port for dust/debris.
- Short battery life: Usage and environment affect runtime; for longest sessions, keep it connected to power.
