For optimal, uninterrupted performance, we recommend keeping Airmonitor Plus plugged into a 5V/2A USB power supply for continuous monitoring.
When you need mobility, the built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery powers Airmonitor Plus for up to ~3 hours per full charge. Actual runtime varies with settings and environment.
What affects battery life
- Screen on-time/brightness (display is the biggest draw)
- Wi-Fi signal strength (weak signals use more power)
- Frequent alerts/notifications
- Ambient temperature (very hot or cold reduces capacity)
Get the most from each charge
Enable Screen Sleep in Settings (see Screen Sleep article): the screen can auto-off after 10–300 seconds and wake with a hand wave over the proximity sensor.
Power & charging tips
- Charge via the rear USB-C port using a 5V/2A adapter.
- The device can be used while charging (ideal for 24/7 monitoring).
- For extended portable sessions, a USB power bank (5V/2A) works well.
