Is Airmonitor Plus Waterproof?

No, Airmonitor Plus isn’t waterproof or water-resistant. It’s designed for maximum airflow so it can measure your air accurately, which also means water can get in.

Using it safely

  • Indoors is best. Keep the monitor in dry, ventilated spaces.
  • If you take it outside, use a covered, dry area (e.g., under a roof or awning). Avoid rain, splashes, mist, or sprinkler zones.
  • Avoid wet environments: bathrooms during showers, saunas/steam rooms, near humidifier mist, kitchen sink splash zones, or open windows during rain.
  • If it gets damp: unplug power, move it to a dry place, and let it air out completely before using again. (Don’t open the device.)

Why this matters
Water or heavy moisture can damage the sensors and internal components, leading to inaccurate readings or device failure.

Damage caused by water ingress isn’t covered by the warranty.
