Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connection Issues

In most cases, connecting your Airmonitor Plus takes under 30 seconds. That said, some networks and phone settings can cause hiccups.

If pairing doesn’t complete after a couple of tries, run through the quick checks below, If we still can’t get you connected, we’ll replace it.

Quick checks (takes 1–2 minutes)

  1. Is the Wi-Fi icon flashing on the Airmonitor? When the device is in pairing mode, the Wi-Fi icon on the screen should flash. If you’re not sure what you’re seeing, follow the visuals in this article.
  2. Do you have the correct app installed? There are several apps with “Breathe” in the name. Make sure you’re using the right one for Airmonitor Plus. See article 'How do I download the Breathe Tech app?'
  3. Phone battery check We’ve seen some phones struggle to initiate Bluetooth pairing when the battery is low. If the app can’t find the Airmonitor, charge your phone for a few minutes and try again.
  4. Try multiple times - Some network setups (e.g., mesh/dual-band routers) need a couple of attempts for the first handshake. If it doesn’t connect the first time, try up to three times before moving on.

Still not connecting?

  • Double-check items in the two linked articles above.
  • Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is on and you’re close to the Airmonitor during pairing.
  • Give it three attempts—this resolves most first-time setup issues on varied home/office networks.

If it’s still not working, we’ve got you: contact us with your order number and the best shipping address. We’ll either help you finish setup or send a replacement if we can’t resolve it.
