By default, Screen Sleep is disabled, so the display remains on continuously.
If your display is turning off automatically, Screen Sleep has been enabled in the Breathe Tech app.
To keep the display on:
- Open the Breathe Tech app.
- Select your Airmonitor Plus.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Toggle Screen Sleep Off
Your display will now remain on continuously while Airmonitor Plus is powered.
Why Does the Display Turn Off?
Screen Sleep is designed to extend battery life by automatically turning off the display after a period of inactivity.
Even when the display is off:
- Air quality monitoring continues.
- Sensor readings continue to update.
- Data continues to sync with the Breathe Tech app.
- Only the display is turned off.
Can I Wake the Display?
Yes.
If Screen Sleep is enabled, simply wave your hand 5–10 cm (2–4 inches) in front of the proximity sensor above the display. The display will wake automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will turning off Screen Sleep reduce battery life?
Yes. Keeping the display on continuously uses more power than Screen Sleep mode. If you're using Airmonitor Plus on battery power, enabling Screen Sleep can significantly increase battery runtime.
Does Screen Sleep stop Airmonitor Plus from monitoring air quality?
No. Airmonitor Plus continues measuring air quality, recording data and syncing with the Breathe Tech app. Only the display turns off.
