What Does the Airmonitor Plus Measure?
- Your Airmonitor Plus continuously monitors eight key indoor air quality metrics:
- Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) – Indicates how well a space is ventilated.
- PM1, PM2.5 & PM10 – Measures airborne particulate pollution such as dust, smoke and pollen.
- TVOC – Detects Total Volatile Organic Compounds released from paints, cleaning products, furniture and more.
- Formaldehyde (HCHO) – Monitors this common indoor chemical pollutant.
- Temperature
- Relative Humidity
These measurements update continuously, allowing you to quickly identify changes in your indoor environment.
Before You Start
Before using your Airmonitor Plus, we recommend completing these simple steps:
- Calibrate the CO₂ sensor in fresh outdoor air.
- Download the Breathe Tech app.
- Connect your monitor to your Wi-Fi network.

Getting the Most Accurate Readings
- Position the monitor at breathing height where possible.
- Keep it away from open windows, heating vents and air conditioning outlets.
- Avoid placing it in direct sunlight.
- Do not place the monitor directly beside humidifiers, air purifiers or cooking appliances unless you are intentionally monitoring their effect.
Indoor air quality changes throughout the day, so your readings will naturally fluctuate as people occupy the room, cook, clean or open windows.
Understanding Your Air Quality
Airmonitor Plus helps you identify changes in your indoor environment so you can take action when needed.
High CO₂ levels may indicate poor ventilation.
High particulate levels can be caused by cooking, candles, fireplaces, smoking, dust or outdoor pollution entering the home.
Elevated TVOC or Formaldehyde readings may be caused by cleaning products, paints, new furniture, air fresheners or other household chemicals.
