Calibrating the Sensors

Modified on Mon, 22 Jan 2024 at 12:47 PM

Airmonitor Plus is equipped with a high-precision non-dispersive absorption infra-red (NDIR) gas sensor, ensuring accurate air quality readings. To maintain its precision, regular calibration is recommended. There are two methods;

1) Automatic Calibration

The sensor can intelligently set its zero point and self-calibrate after continuously running for 24 hours. No user intervention is necessary, but for the most accurate readings, allow this initial 24-hour period.

2) Manual Calibration

Follow these simple steps for manual calibration:

• Turn on Airmonitor Plus and place it in a well-ventilated environment, such as outdoors or near an open window, for 5 minutes.

• Press the multi-function button three times quickly.

• The device will restart to complete the calibration process, after which you can resume normal usage.
